Cam Deery, President

Cam DeeryAs the President, Cam is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing Castaway’s vision, mission, and overall direction. Cam brings more than 20 years of executive leadership expertise in management, as well as sales and marketing. Highly experienced in information technology (IT) hardware, solutions, and services, Cam is the visionary and driving force behind the company’s CastTRAC chain-of-custody program for securely processing offline data-bearing assets.

Prior to founding Castaway, Cam held executive management and sales positions at Axis Communications (NASDAQ Stockholm: AXIS), BaseSix, C4N Inc., and Xyplex (now MRV Communications; NASDAQ: MRVC) . He brings great passion, solid business fundamentals, and creative solutions to the Information Technology Asset Disposition (ITAD) industry. Cam is a graduate of the University of Vermont, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.

Brian Sifferlen, Chief Financial Officer

Brian SifferlenBrian brings more than 25 years of extensive accounting, finance and industry knowledge to Castaway. Brian is responsible for overseeing finances, operations and general day to day business. He also assists in performing tasks necessary to achieve the organization’s mission and help execute staff succession and growth plans.

Prior to joining the Castaway team, Brian held Vice President positions at The Bank of New York Mellon (NYSE: BK) and Mellon Financial Corporation in the Information Technology (IT) Finance Group. Brian is a graduate of Merrimack College with a Bachelor’s in Finance.

Jay Marchand, Director of Sales and Account Management

Jay serves as the key liaison between Castaway and our clients, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and achieve outstanding client satisfaction. He is responsible for managing and maintaining client relationships, developing individual account plans and providing value throughout all our relationships. Further, Jay is responsible for new client acquisition and implementing the on boarding process via our highly consultative sales approach. He is helping to enhance and further shape the Castaway brand through his diligent interaction with clients, assessment of market conditions and execution of our best-in-class suite of IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) Services.

Jay was a 4-year NCAA Division 1 soccer player at the University of Massachusetts where he earned a bachelors degree in Economics with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Prior to Castaway Technologies, Jay consistently exceeded sales goals and received extensive training in direct sales and marketing from The New England Team, a specialized sales consulting firm. In 2016, Jay brought his customer service mindset, expertise and acumen to develop and manage Castaway’s Retail and e-Commerce Team. He has focused on improving customer interactions and expanding the our customer base and sales channels while building new retention strategies, implementing selling tools and providing outstanding leadership to the team.

Under Jay’s management and with his team’s dedication, Castaway’s sales and online brand value have increased dramatically. This success and his commitment to always providing value and consistent customer service led to his promotion as the Director of Sales and Account Management. He arrives eager to please, ready to work every day and always brings a fun, jovial and nurturing spirit to Castaway Technologies, our clients, customers, partners, colleagues, family and friends.

David Paquette, Vice President of Business Development

David is responsible for growing Castaway’s partner programs and direct client relationships alike. He brings 20+ years of sales and business development experience to Castaway Technologies having built both direct and indirect sales teams and programs for both public and private companies. Working closely with partners and clients to develop mutually profitable relationships has been paramount to his success. Working in the media, analytics, BI and marketing technology spaces, he has supported clients and partners across multiple verticals and industries such as: Financial services, Retail, Transportation, eCommerce, Consulting Services and Technology.

Prior to Castaway, David has held executive positions with a number of technology focused companies such as Carat (Dentsu-Aegis), Adobe (Omniture), Visible Measures, Blueconic and Nanigans. David is a graduate of Dalhousie University in Halifax, N.S. with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
